Paternoster school: space for safe, socially distanced contact

The Sedbury Trust funded Paternoster school to develop one of their spaces to meet the needs of staff, students and pupils during the Covid-19 pandemic.  The new space (shown below) was purposefully designed to provide communication and social space for pupils and their families, which supports socially distanced face-to-face contact.  The new space can also be broken down into individual elements, allowing for flexible use to meet varying needs.

The pandemic has been a difficult time for staff, students and their families and the creation of a safe environment, that is calm and welcoming, to support positive but safe contact during this time has had a hugely positive impact.
